News from Fe at Magnolia Psychotherapy
Helping you thrive, whatever life brings
I'm delighted to launch my new brand, Magnolia Psychotherapy, still working from my existing therapy room on Grangeside just off Blackwell Lane in Darlington.
Having married in summer 2025 it felt like high time to update my company name. Inspired by a tree in my garden, my Magnolia brand speaks of the qualities I bring to life in my work and more generally. as an ancient genus surviving for over 100 million years, the Magnolia's got some staying power and strength! When I looked it up I found that this beautiful plant that I have long loved represents not only endurance,, but also dignity and grace. It's a symbol of deep and lasting connections. the yellow magnolia which I have chosen represents joy, friendship and positive energy, all qualities that matter to me greatly.

Using sensory circuits to reset your nervous system
Sensory circuits can not only help when you are feeling over-stimulated or overloaded, they are also useful to help you prepare for a period of focus or activity. They are basically a big break state to move from however you feel to an alert, open and relaxed state.

The response was electric
I know my power
Haiku 2:
My feelings matter
Energy courses through me
I am flowing free
Haiku 3:
I feel alive now
Possibilities abound
My life will blossom
Wishing you a wonderful autumn season of shedding whatever is no longer needed.
